Official Contest Rules
NO PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THE CONTEST IS A GAME OF SKILL. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor. The MVPicker [2026 Season] Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by MVPicker LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us”), [registered office address].
2. Eligibility to play and to win. Anyone who can access MVPicker may create an account and play. To be eligible to win the prize, an entrant must, at the close of the Contest Period, be (a) a legal resident of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, other than New York, Florida, or Rhode Island, and (b) at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater. Residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island, minors, and entrants outside the eligible jurisdictions may play but are not eligible to win the prize. If an ineligible entrant finishes highest, the prize is awarded to the next-highest-scoring eligible entrant. Employees, officers, members, and contractors of Sponsor, and their immediate household members, are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited.
3. Agreement to Rules. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest. Entry also constitutes your agreement to the MVPicker Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
4. No purchase necessary. No purchase, payment, or contribution of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and none will improve your chances of winning. Making a voluntary contribution (including through the Booster Club) does not affect your entry, eligibility, or chances, and provides only cosmetic recognition with no bearing on the Contest.
5. Contest Period. The Contest begins [start date/time] and ends [end date/time] (the “Contest Period”), with scoring on the schedule published at /rules.
6. How to enter. Create a free MVPicker account and submit predictions (“picks”) for eligible games during the Contest Period under the rules published at /rules. One account per person; entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, or generated by automated means are void.
7. How the winner is determined. The winner is the eligible entrant with the highest cumulative score under the published scoring rules at the close of the Contest Period. Scores reflect the accuracy of each entrant’s predictions and are determined by skill, not chance.
8. Tie-breaker. If two or more eligible entrants are tied, the winner is the tied entrant with [tie-breaker metric — e.g., highest points in the final scored week].
9. Prize. One (1) grand prize of twenty-five thousand U.S. dollars (US $25,000), awarded as a single payment. Approximate retail value: $25,000. The prize is non-transferable; no substitution except by Sponsor. Limit one prize per person/account.
10. Odds. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants and the skill of each entrant’s predictions.
11. Winner notification. The potential winner will be notified using the email address associated with the winning account and must respond, confirm eligibility, and return all required documents (Section 12) within ten (10) days of the first notification attempt. If the potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond in time, is ineligible, or returns incomplete or invalid documents, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next-highest-scoring eligible entrant.
12. Taxes and required documentation. The prize is taxable income. Before payment, the winner must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 (and any other documentation Sponsor reasonably requires), which Sponsor also uses to confirm the winner’s eligibility (including state of residence and age). Sponsor will report the prize on IRS Form 1099-MISC. If the winner does not provide a valid taxpayer identification number, Sponsor may be required to apply backup withholding. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize.
13. Publicity. Except where prohibited, accepting the prize permits Sponsor to use the winner’s username/handle and first name and state of residence to announce and promote the Contest, without further notice or compensation.
14. Conduct and disqualification. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the Contest, breaches the Terms, engages in fraud or collusion, or behaves disruptively or unsportingly.
15. General conditions. Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest if fraud, technical failure, or another factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the Contest’s integrity, and may award the prize from eligible entries collected to that point or as it otherwise deems fair.
16. Limitation of liability. By entering, each entrant releases Sponsor from any claim arising out of participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law, consistent with the limitation in the Terms of Service.
17. Disputes and governing law. These Rules are governed by Nebraska law and are subject to the dispute-resolution terms of the MVPicker Terms of Service, including the jury-trial and class-action waivers and the preservation of small-claims access.
18. Privacy. Information collected in connection with the Contest is handled under the MVPicker Privacy Policy.
